Services at Bayswater
Since July 2011 the Holy Communion has been celebrated at the Meeting Room, Drill Hall, corner of Murray and Crowther Streets, Bayswater, on a fortnightly basis, to provide for those Traditional Anglicans who live in Maylands and adjacent areas and who do not wish to enter an Ordinariate and convert to Roman Catholicism.

Michelle and Centaine Scott will be Confirmed in St Andrew’s Church, Lesmurdie, at 9.30am on 21 April by Bishop David Robarts, former Dean of St George’s Anglican Cathedral, Perth, presently a member of the College of Bishops of the Traditional Anglican Communion. This will be followed by a shared luncheon to which all are invited. Those present will also be able to meet Fr Michael Pope, the Administrator of the Diocese of the Anglican Catholic Church in Australia.

June 2013
If you enjoy a traditional Sung Evensong, you will feel quite at home on 30 June at St Andrew’s. The service begins at 4.00pm. Those present are welcome to stay after the service and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some nibbles.
July 2013
A service of thanksgiving to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of St Andrew’s parish will be held at Falls Farm on 28 July 2013 at 9.30am. All friends and former parishioners are most welcome to attend. The service will be followed by a light luncheon which will enable old acquaintances to be renewed and new friendships to be formed. Fr Brian is endeavouring to put together a short history of the parish and would welcome any contributions, especially photographs.
August 2013
Other than the usual services, nothing in particular seems to be happening in August. Perhaps everyone is recovering from the anniversary celebrations, or is preparing for St Peter’s mini-fête which will be held in October?
September 2013
No doubt those who attended Evensong at St Andrew’s at the end of June will be attending the Evensong service at St Andrew’s on 29 September at 4.00pm. As usual tea and coffee and “what-have-you” will be served after the service.
October 2013
On 12 October St Peter’s parish will be holding its annual mini fête at the Scout Hall on the corner of Rountree Road and Sicklemore Street, Brentwood. The fête will be from 8am until 1pm.
Many bargains will be available from the White Elephant and other stalls and, of course, there will be the usual home-made jams, conserves, chutneys (including our famous “Hotazel” chutney), cakes and biscuits. In these difficult financial times the discerning houseperson will be able to purchase some real bargains as we will have groceries “on special”, all at one price - $2.00 each! These have been bought from the supermarkets by one of our generous parishioners who has donated them to the parish – that is how we are able to sell them at such a low price.
Whilst you catch your breath you may wish to partake of the Devonshire teas and coffee which will also be available.
Those who have a sweet tooth may wish to indulge in the delicious home-made fudge which was such a success at the last fête.
The first prize in the raffle (which will be drawn on the day – winners notified) is a bottle of white wine, a bottle of red wine and a rather large basketful of groceries. The second prize consists of a bottle of white wine and a smaller basketful of groceries. There is no doubt that the lucky winners will be absolutely delighted with the prizes.
There will also be some books and craft – in fact too many items to list – and just remember, if you buy a plant from us, it comes with a guarantee that it will not die before you reach home!
In case you feel like something to nibble on while wandering around the various stalls, you are invited to purchase some our delectable hot dogs which will be cooked by our very experienced cordon bleu chefs on the premises.
November 2013
We will recover physically and spiritually from the fête by attending Mass every Sunday.
December 2013
We will be celebrating our Carol Service at St Peter’s on 15 December at 6.00pm. This will be followed by a light supper which will enable parishioners to meet some of our neighbours.
In each parish the Christmas Day Service will begin at 9.00am to enable us to spend the rest of the day with our families.
On 29 December there will be a service of Sung Evensong at St Andrew’s at 4.00pm.
