We are not in communion with the Archbishop of Canterbury and have no affiliation with the Anglican Church of Australia, but we hope that they will act on the recommendation of the 1998 Lambeth Conference for them to build bridges with all who “own the Anglican way”.

We acknowledge that the Scriptures contain all things necessary for salvation.  We believe the historic teaching of the Church contained in the Nicene Creed and the Seven Councils of the Early Church and that the apostolic ministry of bishops, priests and deacons as that ministry has been known since the earliest times, must be preserved.

We are a living community within the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, contending earnestly for the Faith once delivered to the Saints in its Anglican form, which it we believes is a true and valid expression of that Faith.  Our mission is to recall Anglicanism to its heritage, to heal the divisions caused by departures from that Faith, and to build a vibrant Church for the future, based on a powerful local leadership.

Those enquirers and visitors who join us for worship will receive a warm welcome, hear the good news of Jesus Christ, and worship in a traditional manner.

In Western Australia, our parishes are currently in the metropolitan area of Perth but, under God’s guidance, we would like to provide whatever ministry we can to Traditional Anglicans wherever they may be in Australia.

How can you learn more?  Come and worship with us!  Our Priests are always glad to answer your questions and, if requested, to provide a course of instruction on the Christian Faith and Traditional Anglicanism.

1. The crest is basically a shield.  This is the Shield of Faith.

2. The bishop’s mitre indicates that we are an Episcopal Church.  The bishops are the successors to the Apostles and their main function is to guard, preserve and proclaim the “Faith once delivered to the Saints”.

3. The Cross on the shield recognises firstly, that Christ died on a cross for our Salvation.  Secondly, its red colour indicates that our Church has its heritage and tradition from the Church of England.

4. In the top left corner we have the cross of Saint Andrew.  This acknowledges Saint Andrew’s, Lesmurdie, as a founding Parish.

5. In the top right corner we have the keys of Saint Peter.  This acknowledges Saint Peter’s, Brentwood, as a founding Parish.

6. In the bottom right corner we have a black swan which represents Western Australia.

7. The bottom left corner is blank.  This symbolises the vastness of God’s love for His Church and its faithful people.

8. The Scroll at the bottom reads – “God is our Strength”.  This is a recognition that all our Christian Faith and Life depends upon the Grace of the Blessed Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

We believe this crest encompasses all our endeavours to love the Lord our God with all our heart and mind and strength
